Bio

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Management and Applied Engineering Technology at TAMUK and director of the Lab Smart Systems Design and Decision Making. My research interests broadly lie in the interface of mathematical optimization, modeling complex systems, machine learning, and systems simulation. The lab conducts research on various aspects of designing and simulating complex systems and developing intelligent and autonomous operational planning for optimizing efficiency and cost, with the application of mathematical modeling, optimization algorithms, and machine learning. I received my Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the Department of Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) advised by Dr. Cihan H. Dagli and Dr. Zeyi Sun. I completed my undergraduate in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
